Convent of Mont Sainte Odile

Sainte Odile Monastery is an ancient place of pilgrimage and memory. A pagan wall, found below, attests that the site was already a place of worship in Celtic times. The monastery is composed of a set of constructions built from the 8th to the 20th century. A little door allows access to the cloister's courtyard, surrounded by three wings. It is austere and only decorated with a statue of Sainte Odile on a red sandstone plinth.
