The Grasse jasmine flowers give off a subtle but intense, soft, and powdery fragrance. Its floral, fruity, and animal notes are particularly suited to the creations and arrangements inherent to perfumery and formerly used in tannery. The tanners of Grasse were the first to select this jasmine species, which grew spontaneously in the region, to perfume their production.
