The large volume of Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Nicolas Collegiate Church in Briançon contrasts with the narrowness of Place du Temple that masks its imposing structure. The monument's polychrome facade has a central stone part that corresponds to the nave. It is dominated by a curved pediment framed by two bell towers inspired by the typical medieval scheme.
