Bruno François exercises the double function of Head of the collections of the Hospices Civiles de Beaune and Deputy Curator of the Antiquities and Works of Art of the Côte-d'Or department. As such, he opens the doors of the Hôtel-Dieu museum of the Hospices de Beaune, the most visited historic building in Côte-d'Or, to visitors by reservation and in small groups to show them the attics, the dormitory of the hospital sisters, the King's room, or the archive room. In 2012 he published a book entitled The Hospices of Beaune, in dates and figures, which retraces the history of the monument from its origins to the present day.
