Confirming contamination
1
0
As part of the fight against the spread of the colored canker disease to the plane trees along the banks of the Canal du Midi, the suspicions of contamination must be confirmed by the authorities in charge of plant protection. In the event of contamination, the infected trees are felled during the winter according to a regulatory protocol that sets a perimeter around them. The program is carried out along with close monitoring of the canal's biodiversity.
