Reconciling human presence and wildlife

Inside Lorraine Regional Nature Park, Madine Lake reconciles human presence and abundant wildlife. Its various infrastructures allow non-intrusive activities for the numerous animal species that reside on its banks. Quiet zones have been delimited so that some 250 bird species can nest or rest during wintering or migration without external disturbance. The installation of an observation platform allows ornithologists and bird enthusiasts to watch them from afar.
