The greater flamingos (Phœnicopterus roseus) live as a community and always remain packed in more or less important groups, even in their love life. They indulge irregularly in the beginnings of non-targeted mating behaviors that correspond to an overall ritual whose frequency and intensity increase in the spring, a few weeks before the start of the nesting season.
