The municipal territory of Gorbio in the Alpes-Maritimes department covers an area of 1,734 acres (702 ha) located between 252 and 3,047 ft (77 and 929 m) above sea level. It consists of wooded hills, in the center and south towards Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Menton, and higher rocky reliefs (Gorbio summit, 3,047 ft / 929 m) to the north and west towards Peille. The current village itself is perched at an altitude of 1,180 ft (360 m).
