A good working collar must be strong, comfortable, light and adapted to the morphology of the Comtois horses of the 'Attelages du Val d'Amour'. Some have steam curved ash splints reinforced with steel and a removable padding. They are equipped with hooks and a steel mesh chain for pairing as well as a strap on the back. Finally, their size must correspond to the necks of Comtois horses which generally oscillate between 66 and 70.
