The Angels Chapel, or Saint-Michel, was built in the 12th century and remodeled in 1617 by order of the Bishop of Strasbourg. The interior is decorated with mosaics illustrating the Nativity, the Ascension of Christ, and the Archangel Saint Michael slaying the dragon. A little flower garden adorns the heart of the terrace, with a path leading to an orientation table, north of the monastery, above the Bloss massif.
