Close-up on the Pfister vines

The Mélanie Pfister estate covers ten hectares of clay-limestone land scattered over some forty parcels. One hectare is dedicated to Pinot Noir and the other nine to white grape varieties (Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Muscat d’Alsace, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling). A diversity that allows each plot to be vinified separately without mixing the grapes. The estate has more than 50 stainless steel vats where very gentle, low-intervention vinification is carried out. There are produced biodynamic wines that have earned the estate the Fair’n Green label.
