Five generations at the service of prestige

In 1919, Gaston Grivot left his Jura native country and his vineyards and bought a plot of the prestigious Clos de Vougeot in the Côte-d'Or department (Burgundy). He had a wrought-iron gate installed still visible along National Road 74. His son Jean expanded the estate by buying a plot of Richebourg in 1984 before being succeeded by Étienne Grivot in 1987. His children, Mathilde and Hubert, have worked alongside him since 2010. The five generations of the Grivot family have been working to perpetuate a prestigious vineyard that has made Burgundy and France famous worldwide.
