Elephant cemetery, the myth
0
0
After having lost all their teeth, very old elephants go to areas where the vegetation is tender enough to be easily chewed. They find this kind of habitats next to water, on the edge of rivers or in marshlands. Once they can not eat anymore, they can still drink. The myth of an elephant cemetery could be linked to the discovery of many bones near marshes.
