Sled dog, a descendant of the wolf
0
0
The posture of this sled dog in this photo reminds us of the wolf. Genetic studies indicate that sled dogs represent an ancient lineage dating back at least 9,500 years whose ancestors bred with wolves before coming into contact with American dogs. They have retained a behavior and instincts which evoke them such as a respect for the social hierarchy of the pack and facial expressions or attitudes of submission, provocation, invitation to play.
