Cheetahs live in dry regions. If they don't find water, they can stay three to four days without drinking. They are able to travel around 50 miles (80 km) between two water sources. They can manage with the water and the moisture they find in the meat from their preys. They are also known to eat fruits, such as water-rich tsama melons.
