Château fort érigé de 1200 à 1411 environ sur une butte de 133 mètres de haut. Il est inscrit aux Monuments Historiques depuis 1963. Il est en ruine depuis la dernière phase de la Guerre de Cent Ans.
On rentre dans l’édifice par une porte fortifiée construite entre deux tours en fer à cheval.
Le donjon en ruine comporte au 6eme étage une couronne de mâchicoulis.
