Hunter of images : a school of observation and patience

There is much more to game-watching than simply keeping a quick checklist of sightings. If you are patient enough to watch, listen and try to understand, immense rewards can be gained from observing animals in their natural environment, even the less spectacular ones. A change of behavior of simple impala rams for example, previously sparring playfully and suddenly prancing with stiff legs and jerking their heads while letting out loud snorts, might not seem very glamorous unless you detect the alarm signal they are giving having felt the approach of a leopard which will stalk its prey… Be ready to shoot !
