Chapel of S. Geraldo of Cathedral - Braga - North of Portugal

0
On December 5th, St. Geraldo's Day, Patron Saint of the city and first archbishop of Braga, is celebrated. On this day the chapel is open to the public, inside which there are beautiful ornaments on the altars, made with fresh fruit. This decoration is the result of a legend that describes that S. Geraldo, in a completely inhospitable place, during the winter, caused the trees to be loaded with fruit.
