La Céphalaire blanche est une plante herbacée méditerranéenne de la famille des Caprifoliacées. Elle aime les rochers calcaires et les coteaux pierreux.
Elle mesure 50 centimètres à 1 mètre de haut.
Sa floraison a lieu de juillet à septembre.
Ses fleurs ont une corolle blanche.Après la floraison vont se développer les fruits.
