Metallurgic Park is the first interpretative centre entirely devoted to metallurgy, a flourishing industry in the 18th and 19th centuries in the Haute-Marne region. It offers visitors the opportunity to discover the secrets of ancient and contemporary metallurgy. The disused buildings of a foundry that already existed in the 12th century have been transformed into demonstration and exhibition rooms. Cast iron works of art that have made the department world famous fill an entire wall. The ASPM association, which is the initiator of the park, is also responsible for the restoration of an imposing blast furnace dating from 1834.
