Cap Bénat and Cap des Mèdes

Cap Bénat, which comprises Cap Blanc and its lighthouse in the foreground, and Cap des Mèdes, in the background, are two major capes of the Var coast in the southeast of mainland France. A few miles away, the southernmost point of the locality of Bormes-les-Mimosas and the eastern end of the island of Porquerolles are two points of high strategic interest well known to sailors.
