Canna indica, also called the Mexican railing, beaded cane, crab flower or rosary grass, is a perennial plant up to 3 m tall belonging to the cannaceae family. It has its origin in America, apparently in the Antilles Islands. Its cultivation is widespread throughout the world in gardening. The variety photographed is called in English as "yellow King Humbert"
The flowers are grouped in inflorescences of reddish, orange, yellow or pink colors.
