Chameleon in its habitat

The chameleon is a reptile that does not crawl, it walks or climbs in shrubs or bushes with great skill. Its five fingers, welded in two groups of two and three fingers, opposable to each other, form a clamp that allows it to cling to small branches.
When it cannot hold them fully with its hands or feet, it also clings with its claws. Solitary and territorial, each chameleon adopts a shrub or a bush for its lodging where it rests at night.
