Calculation of the slope inclination

The inclination of a slope is calculated from the ratio between the slope's height and the horizontal distance traveled. If these two measurements are equal, the slope's angle is 45° which corresponds to an inclination of 100%. The colors (green, blue, red, black) of the ski slopes' complexity are assigned according to their inclination but also other criteria such as width, length, or relief.
