Bussana Vecchia is located near Sanremo, Italy. In 1887, the medieval village of Bussana was destroyed by an earthquake that hit the area. After being a "ghost village" for much of the twentieth century, Bussana Vecchia has developed over the past 50 years as the center of an active community of artists. The village has a lot of charm and attracts many tourists every year.
