The bushbuck is a relatively small antelope. The male has a pair of spiraled horns and looks like a male nyala, with a lighter and shorter coat. Besides, the species is also a member of the same genus as kudu and nyala, called Tragelaphus. Usually solitary, it may be observed in small groups of same-sex individuals. This antelope is often found next to water and is a good swimmer.
