Bulls bred for Camargue races
0
0
The breeding and selection of Camargue bulls, also known as Raço di Biòu, are entirely geared towards their use for Camargue races. Typical of the region, these traditional races constitute an event of the bullfighting season during which raseteurs attempt to seize attributes attached to the horns of a wild bull in an arena. Camargue bulls live continuously outdoors and thus help to maintain the region's natural spaces. Their life in the open air and in freedom reinforces the wild nature of the bulls and makes the use of Camargue horses essential to supervise their movements.
