Built with a stepped roof

Saint-James-and-Saint-Philip Church in Lentilles was built with a system of stepped roofs around 1510. A long spire covered with slate dominates its nave. The four spans of the church's nave are lit by a row of narrow bays framed by wooden crosses of Saint Andrew. It ends with a one-span choir and a three-sided apse. The stained-glass windows are sober and let past a neutral amount of light. Surrounded by a small cemetery, Saint-James-and-Saint-Philip Church was listed as a Historical Monument in 1933.
