The Bugatti Type 51, the first Grand Prix Bugatti with a twin-shaft engine, would establish itself as one of the most famous racing automobiles of the Molsheim brand. Assembled on the same chassis as the Type 35, the Bugatti Type 51 also had the same body. An abundant collection of racing cars can be observed in the racing area of the Cité de l'Automobile.
