Buffalo : an appearance dependent on its habitat
4
0
According to the regions where they live, buffalos differ in color and size. In South Africa, they are dark brown and the width of their massive horns sometimes exceeds 5ft (1.60m).
The appearance of buffaloes also varies according to their habitat : the color of their dress tends to darken away from forest areas. The buffaloes of forests are red, those of woody savannahs are rather brown, those of meadows and not very dense savannahs, dark brown to black.
