Buffaloes in a dry river bed
0
0
Buffalos have to absorb 30 to 40 liters of water each day depending on the heat. They usually drink at the end of the afternoon or early in the morning. During the dry season, the search for water points is the main reason for their movements. When most ponds are dry, they travel long distances to quench their thirst. The pastures around the pools are often exhausted because of the very regular buffalo frequentation.
