Bridle, bit and martingale
The harness of the Camargue horse includes a leather bridle consisting of a headpiece, a browband, a throatlatch, two uprights, and a muzzle. The bit is a bridle bit equipped with a curb chain and two branches that receive turnstile rings. The different strands start from the central ring of the martingale and join the girths, the noseband or cavesson (in young horses), and the neck of the horse.
