Blue Wildebeest, a water-dependent diet
1
0
The blue wildebeests are ruminants that only feed on grass. They particularly like short shoots and short grass. In that, they are not in food competition with zebras that prefer longer grass, and so it is common to see these two species associated in large herds. Very dependent on water, they drink daily and won't go further than 9.3miles (15km) from water. If they need to, during migrations for instance, they will drink on muddied water.
