Black-tailed Blue Wildebeest
Classified among the antelopes, the two species of wildebeests are present in South Africa : the blue one (black-tailed) and the black one (white-tailed). The wildebeest is an unguligrade whose wrist bones only allow forward and backward movement, giving it great stability when running. To flee at the slightest alert is its only defense, with the imposing mass of its herd.
