Between ephemeral and perennial arts

The Polish street artist NeSpoon, who since 2010 has been traveling across Europe to install her works, uses acrylic paint, stencils, and aerosol cans to create lace frescoes. Her works are located halfway between ephemeral and perennial arts. They are made of reversible materials that degrade over time. The fresco that has been displayed on the facade of the porch of Alençon's Musée des Beaux-Arts et de la Dentelle (Museum of Fine Arts and Lace) since April 2018 should thus have a lifespan of around ten years.
