Saint-Valery-en-Caux is a small seaside town in the Seine-Maritime department. From the entrance, it displays the flowers received in the Villes et Villages Fleuris (Cities and Villages in Bloom) national competition since 1996. The town is a meeting point between a highly vegetal hinterland and a maritime facade lined with pebble beaches between chalk cliffs. The cliffs of Aval and Amont frame the resort and climb to nearly 229 ft (70 m) in height.
