Behind the western portal of the basilica Notre-Dame in Dole, hides a rich interior ornamentation. Of particular note are the remarkable collection of paintings by Laurent Pécheux (1729-1821), a Burgundian school statuary, a 17th century Holy Chapel housing one of the two Hosts of the miracle of Faverney, an 18th century organ by Karl Riepp (1710–1775) and a set of side chapels refurbished and decorated in the 19th century.
