In Honduras, in the tropical rainforest, a curious lizard basks on the branches of trees and shrubs located above water points. The brown basilisk (Basiliscus vittatus), also called the striped basilisk, weighs less than 100g and has an incredible faculty, common to the four existing species of basilisk: it is able to run across the surface of the water at a remarkable speed.
