Dumbéa bay is located in the northern suburb of Nouméa on the west coast of Grande-Terre, between l'Ile aux Chèvres and the peninsula which advances in the Coral Sea on the municipality of Païta. It shelters the smallest bay of Toro which is masked by the relief but which can be seen at the level of the housing estate of the background of the photo.
