With its porched tower covered with glazed tiles, the Lascaris Palace of Castellar does not only stand as a reminder of the importance of the Lascaris lineage in the region. It also takes visitors back to the Neolithic Period, up to the sixth millennium BC, through a series of objects displayed in its cultural space dedicated to the Pendimoun shelter. The exhibition notably shows variously shaped ceramics decorated according to different printing processes as well as diverse testimonies to the progress of agriculture like barley and wheat grains and flint sickles.
