The dry stone walls are part of the landscape and heritage of the Menton hinterland. They are considered to be ancestral know-how and have, as such, been included in the inventory of the French intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture in 2010. These walls have the particularity of being mounted by stone stacking without mortar nor binder, the stones only being stabilized thanks to their shape and their weight.
