Collobrières is a village of 1,891 inhabitants located in the heart of the Massif des Maures in the Var department. Its territory covers an area of 70 sqm (112.7 km²) and extends from 190 to 2,545 ft (58 to 776 m) above sea level. Collobrières is connected to the rest of the department by a main road linking Cuers to Grimaud, and two secondary roads leading to Gonfaron, Pierrefeu and, Bormes-les-Mimosas. The locality is surrounded by vineyards and overlooked by forests of chestnut trees and cork oaks.
