Nestled in the heart of a Norman valley, the fishing village of Yport perpetuates the tradition of beaching ports. The locality located between Fécamp and Étretat is a village of sailors and fishermen that experienced the rush to sea bathing at the end of the 19th century, with the massive arrival of visitors from Paris. A village of 947 inhabitants on the Côte d'Albâtre (Alabaster Coast), Yport is part of the Seine-Maritime department and today constitutes a seaside town where artists, photographers, or musicians like to stay and enjoy the landscape of the land of cliffs.
