Headquarters of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin since 1934, the Château du Clos de Vougeot is listed as a Remarkable Site of Taste for the promotion of Burgundian traditional gastronomy and wines. This 12th and 16th-century castle in Cistercian and Renaissance style sits in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards on the Grands Crus route that connects Dijon and Beaune to Vougeot. In March, the Château du Clos de Vougeot hosts the renowned annual sale of the Hospices of Nuits-Saint-Georges.
