The Napoémien valley and reserve give pride of place to natural spaces, from the forests rich in medicinal plants to the cassava fields and the lush vegetation which imprisons and conceals the few houses. The river which flows near the village is even lined with coffee plants, which testify to the formerly important coffee culture of the region, and it is in the middle of giant bamboos that the mysterious petroglyphs are hidden.
