In the southwest of the Hautes-Pyrénées department, Arrens-Marsous is located in the Vallée des Gaves, small rivers that cross the valley. The village extends between the mountains of the Pic du Midi d'Arrens, the Gabizos, and the Col du Soulor. Formerly dedicated to the cultivation of flax and hemp, Arrens-Marsous still has old houses typical of the region as well as a 15th-century church. The Gabizos and the valley are listed among the Natura 2000 program for their natural areas of ecological interest, fauna, and flora (ZNIEFF).
