The attraction of Tubuai, nicknamed 'the island of abundance' because of the fertility of its land, is related to the colors and transparency of its lagoon which houses real coral gardens and to its idyllic motu. Among them, Motu One, a small sandbar striped with coral outcrops but also Motu Ofai, a pebble on which stands a single coconut tree, and the Island of Giant Clams composed of limestone clusters.
