La Fougère Aspidie du Japon ou Patte d'Ours possède un feuillage persistant, découpé et pointu sur le bout. Son port étalé sert de couvre-sol dans les endroits mi-ombragés ou ombragés. Cette fougère supporte les sols argileux et lourds mais l'eau ne doit pas stagner en hiver. La Fougère Aspidie du Japon aime aussi les sols à tendance acide. Ses dimensions sont de 60cm de haut pour une envergure de 40cm. Parc de la Perraudière de Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire ( Indre et Loire ).
