The chairman of the LVMH group, Bernard Arnault, sees himself in the philanthropic industrialists of the last century who, just like him, had the drive to collect the art of their time. After the Sergei Shchukin collection and its 1.6 million visitors in 2017, the Louis Vuitton Foundation is showing, until April 2022, the collection of the Morozov brothers, composed of 200 masterpieces of modern French and Russian art. Following a partnership with the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, the Pushkin Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Foundation is welcoming paintings and sculptures that are leaving Russia for the first time.
