Around forty full-time workers in all trades
0
0
About forty people work directly on the construction of the fortified castle of Guédelon in the Yonne department by reviving ancestral know-how and forgotten techniques that enhance raw materials. Each worker fulfills a double mission: to carry out his task as a builder and explain his contribution to the fortress' construction. That of the blacksmiths is essential to all the other trades for which they provide, in particular, the manufacture and repair of tools.
